Indeks di bursa Wall Street kembali ditutup melemah memasuki hari ketiga, akibat kekhawatiran akan dampak kenaikan suku bunga oleh The Fed dan bank sentral lainnya terhadap ekonomi dan laba emiten. Komentar dari pejabat The Fed dan ECB mengindikasikan akan masih terus menaikkan suku bunga dalam rangka menurunkan inflasi. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah melemah akibat kekhawatiran akan kenaikan suku bunga yang dapat berimbas pada pelemahan ekonomi sehingga akan menurunkan permintaan minyak mentah.

IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 30 Agustus 2022 ditutup menguat 0,38% pada level 7159. Saham sektor teknologi membukukan penguatan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor energi mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp921,84 miliar, termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7135/7000 dan resistance 7230/7256.
