Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup variatif dimana indeks Dow Jones dan S&P500 rebound sedangkan Nasdaq Composite ditutup melemah. Yield obligasi pemerintah AS menghentikan kenaikannya. Investor beralih ke saham defensif di tengah ketidakpastian pasar. Namun masih terdapat sentimen negatif yang mengkhawatirkan pasar yaitu rencana pengurangan pembelian obligasi oleh The Fed, inflasi tinggi yang masih berlangsung serta masalah kenaikan batas atas utang AS yang dihadapi kongres. Chairman The Fed Jerome Powell dalam acara Bank Sentral Eropa (ECB) menyatakan akibat masalah rantai pasokan yang masih terus terjadi mendorong kenaikan inflasi lebih lama dari perkiraan sebelumnya. Powell masih memprediksi inflasi akan menurun akhirnya, namun laju kenaikan inflasi diperkirakan masih akan berlanjut hingga 2022.
IHSG pada perdagangan Rabu 29 September 2021 ditutup menguat 0,81% pada level 6162. Saham sektor industri membukukan kenaikan terbesar. Sedangkan saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp1,686 triliun, termasuk transaksi negosiasi saham VICI dan SMMA masing-masing sebesar Rp613 miliar dan Rp419 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6130/6100 dan resistance 6180/6218. Stock pick: ASII, PTBA, TLKM, ANTM, TINS, JSMR, SMGR, BBNI, BMRI
