Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat dipicu oleh perkembangan negosiasi gencatan senjata antara Rusia dan Ukraina yang menimbulkan harapan. Rusia menyatakan akan mengurangi aktivitas militernya di ibu kota Ukraina. Harga minyak mentah dan emas terkoreksi karena perkembangan positif tersebut. Pasar juga mencermati pasar obligasi, di mana yield US-Treasury dengan tenor 5 tahun lebih tinggi dibandingkan yield 30 tahun. Sedangkan jarak antara yield tenor 2 tahun dan 10 tahun semakin dekat dan sempat stagnan. Jika yield obligasi jangka pendek lebih tinggi dari jangka panjang disebut sebagai kurva yield yang inverted, yang biasanya sebagai tanda-tanda potensi akan terjadi resesi ekonomi ke depannya. Sementara itu indeks keyakinan konsumen AS tercatat di level 107,2 di bawah estimasi 107,5.

IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 29 Maret 2022 ditutup melemah 0,54% pada level 7011. Saham sektor transportasi mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor teknologi membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp1,100 triliun. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6980/6930 dan resistance 7075/7100.
