Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat dan indeks S&P500 ditutup pada level tertinggi baru. Pasar menantikan dirilisnya laporan keuangan beberapa emiten besar di sektor teknologi pada pekan ini seperti Microsoft, Apple, Meta, Amazon dan Alphabet. Selain itu pasar juga menantikan laporan keuangan Boeing dan Merck. Pasar juga menantikan hasil pertemuan The Fed pada Selasa-Rabu yang diperkirakan akan mempertahankan suku bunga tetap. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah melemah akibat sentimen negatif dari krisis properti di China, meskipun meningkatnya ketegangan di Timur Tengah. Pengadilan di Hong Kong menetapkan pailit terhadap perusahaan properti China Evergrande. Ketegangan politik di Timur Tengah meningkat setelah serangan militan menewaskan 3 tentara AS dan melukai beberapa tentara AS di Yordania dan mengenai sebuah kapal tanker di Laut Merah. Sedangkan harga emas menguat ditopang oleh kenaikan permintaan safe haven di tengah meningkatnya ketegangan di Timur Tengah serta menjelang pertemuan The Fed.

IHSG pada perdagangan Senin 29 Januari 2024 ditutup menguat 0,28% pada level 7157. Saham sektor transportasi membukukan penguatan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp540,18 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7120/7100 dan resistance 7180/7200. Stock pick: BBRI, BMRI, BBCA, BBNI, BBTN, BRIS, ADRO, ADMR, TLKM, AMRT
