Indeks di bursa Wall Street kembali ditutup melemah setelah pada akhir pekan lalu ditutup melemah signifikan. Koreksi lanjutan ini masih berasal dari meningkatnya kekhawatiran investor akan kenaikan suku bunga yang masih akan berlangsung dan kebijakan moneter The Fed yang ketat. Yield US-Treasury dengan tenor 2 tahun meningkat pada level tertinggi selama 15 tahun terakhir. Pada pekan ini pasar akan menantikan sejumlah data ekonomi, seperti data manufaktur China dan Eropa serta data tenaga kerja AS. Selain itu dijadwalkan juga akan ada pidato dari beberapa pejabat The Fed.

IHSG pada perdagangan Senin 29 Agustus 2022 ditutup melemah 0,045% pada level 7132. Saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor energi membukukan kenaikan terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp241,41 miliar, termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7065/7015 dan resistance 7150/7195.
