Market Review and Prediction

Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat yang antara lain ditopang oleh kenaikan pada saham 3M dan saham sektor teknologi. Pasar menantikan sejumlah data ekonomi pada pekan ini diantaranya data tenaga kerja dan inflasi. Setelah komentar Chairman The Fed Jerome Powell pada pekan lalu di Jackson Hole mengindikasikan akan masih menaikkan suku bunga jika diperlukan, potensi kenaikan suku bunga pada pertemuan September menjadi lebih besar. Pasar akan mencermati indeks PCE prices yang merupakan indikator inflasi yang dilihat The Fed, yang akan dirilis pada pekan ini. Data nonfarm payrolls juga akan dirilis pada pekan ini.

IHSG pada perdagangan Senin 28 Agustus 2023 ditutup menguat 0,38% pada level 6921. Saham sektor basic material membukukan penguatan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor transportasi mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp1,374 triliun termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6890/6860 dan resistance 6950/6970. Stock pick: BMRI, BBNI, BRIS, EXCL, ADRO, PTBA, ADMR, SMGR, INTP, BSDE, CTRA, ACES, MAPI
