Market Review and Prediction

Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat pada perdagangan hari pertama pada pekan terakhir di tahun 2023 ini. Nasdaq Composite mencapai level tertinggi baru. Indeks S&P500 mendekati level rekor tertingginya. Meskipun volume perdagangan lebih rendah, namun pergerakan indeks mengindikasikan melanjutkan tren positif. Ketiga indeks utama di Wall Street telah mengalami penguatan selama delapan pekan berturut-turut. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah menguat karena adanya serangan terhadap kapal di Laut Merah serta harapan akan penurunan suku bunga The Fed pada tahun depan. Harga emas juga menguat karena ekspektasi penurunan suku bunga The Fed. Data ekonomi AS yang akan dirilis pada pekan ini diantaranya indeks harga rumah, consumer confidence dan initial claims.

IHSG pada perdagangan Jumat 22 Desember 2023 ditutup menguat 0,39% pada level 7237. Saham sektor basic materials membukukan kenaikan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor transportasi mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp68,8 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7200/7175 dan resistance 7250/7270. Stock pick: BBRI, BBCA, BBNI, BRIS, MDKA, TLKM, EXCL, ITMG, CTRA
