Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup mix di mana indeks Dow Jones dan S&P500 ditutup melemah, sedangkan Nasdaq Composite ditutup menguat terbatas. Koreksi pada saham Amgen membebani indeks Dow Jones. Sembilan dari 11 sektor dalam indeks S&P500 mengalami koreksi, yang dipimpin oleh saham sektor energi akibat penurunan pada harga minyak mentah. Sebaliknya saham sektor teknologi mengalami kenaikan. Sementara itu data penjualan rumah baru di AS turun 4,7% pada bulan Agustus lalu. Harga minyak mentah melemah akibat meredanya kekhawatiran akan gangguan suplay dari Libia serta kekhawatiran akan turunnya permintaan dari China meskipun adanya rencana langkah stimulus dari China akhir-akhir ini. Sedangkan harga emas mengalami konsolidasi setelah mencapai level tertinggi baru.

IHSG pada perdagangan Rabu 25 September 2024 ditutup melemah 0,48% pada level 7740. Saham sektor keuangan mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor basic materials membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp1,86 triliun termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7700/7650 dan resistance 7775/7810. Stock pick: ADMR, INDY, ITMG, UNTR, BRIS, BBCA, BRPT, PSAB, MDKA, INCO, ANTM
