Market Review and Prediction

Indeks di bursa Wall Street pada akhir pekan lalu ditutup mix, di mana indeks Dow Jones dan indeks S&P500 menguat dan mencapai rekor tertinggi baru, namun Nasdaq Composite ditutup melemah. Beberapa pejabat The Fed berkomentar bahwa The Fed tidak akan buru-buru menurunkan suku bunga karena kekhawatiran akan inflasi yang masih terjadi serta pasar tenaga kerja yang masih kuat. Saat ini pasar memprediksi The Fed hanya akan menurunkan suku bunga sebanyak empat kali pada tahun ini dan diperkirakan akan dimulai pada pertemuan bulan Juni.

Data ekonomi AS yang akan dirilis pada pekan ini diantaranya new home sales, consumer confidence, initial claims, personal income, personal spending, PCE prices dan indeks ISM manufacturing. Dari domestik, data ekonomi yang akan dirilis pada pekan ini diantaranya inflasi bulan Februari 2024, indeks PMI manufaktur dan kunjungan wisatawan.

IHSG pada perdagangan Jumat 23 Februari 2024 ditutup melemah 0,61% pada level 7295. Saham sektor keuangan mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor infrastruktur membukukan kenaikan terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp1,049 triliun termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7260/7230 dan resistance 7320/7350. Stock pick: BBTN, BRIS, ISAT, EXCL, ADMR, PTBA, PGEO, AKRA
