Indeks di bursa Wall Street kembali ditutup menguat menjelang pidato Chairman The Fed Jerome Powell di simposium Jackson Hole pada hari ini. Saham sektor komoditas, komunikasi dan teknologi membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor berharap akan mendapatkan petunjuk baru dari pidato Jerome Powell mengenai prospek kebijakan moneter The Fed selanjutnya. Namun ada potensi bahwa Powell hanya akan mengulangi pernyataan sebelumnya mengenai suku bunga. Pasar juga menantikan data PCE prices yang akan dirilis hari ini.

IHSG pada perdagangan Kamis 25 Agustus 2022 ditutup melemah 0,28% pada level 7174. Saham sektor kesehatan mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor energi membukukan kenaikan terbesar. Investor asing net sell Rp655,78 miliar, termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7150/7125 dan resistance 7230/7255.
