Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat dan indeks Dow Jones telah menguat selama 11 hari berturut-turut. Penguatan antara lain didorong oleh penguatan pada saham sektor energi seiring dengan kenaikan harga minyak mentah, laporan kinerja keuangan beberapa emiten yang lebih baik dari estimasi serta menantikan hasil pertemuan The Fed pada pekan ini yang diperkirakan akan menaikkan suku bunga sebesar 0,25%. Pasar mengharapkan kenaikan suku bunga The Fed kali ini akan menjadi yang terakhir dari program kenaikan suku bunga The Fed. Harga minyak mentah menguat dipicu oleh ekspektasi pemangkasan produksi oleh OPEC akan membuat suplay minyak ketat serta harapan akan adanya stimulus dari China untuk mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi.

IHSG pada perdagangan Senin 24 Juli 2023 ditutup menguat 0,27% pada level 6899. Saham sektor energi membukukan kenaikan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor properti mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp92,08 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6880/6850 dan resistance 6930/6960. Stock pick: BMRI, BBNI, BBRI, ISAT, TLKM, MEDC, ADRO, PTBA, INCO, SMGR, INTP, AALI, KLBF
