Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah cukup signifikan setelah sebelumnya mengalami kenaikan didorong oleh penguatan pada saham sektor teknologi seiring dengan dirilisnya laporan keuangan Nvidia yang lebih baik dari estimasi. Pasar menantikan komentar Chairman The Fed Jerome Powell di simposium tahunan perbankan Jackson Hole nanti malam. Yield US-Treasury kembali mengalami kenaikan mengantipasi komentar Powell tersebut.

IHSG pada perdagangan Kamis 24 Agustus 2023 ditutup melemah 0,32% pada level 6899. Saham sektor industri mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor basic materials membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp198,12 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6890/6860 dan resistance 6935/6955. Stock pick: BMRI, BBCA, BBNI, BBTN, BRPT, INKP, ANTM
