Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat, rebound setelah indeks Dow Jones mengalami koreksi selama delapan pekan berturut-turut. Investor melakukan pembelian terhadap saham-saham yang telah mengalami penurunan dalam, seperti saham perbankan. Sentimen positif juga berasal dari pernyataan Presiden Biden yang sedang mempertimbangkan untuk mengurangi tarif impor beberapa produk dari China. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah cenderung bergerak stagnan. Sedangkan harga emas menguat dipicu oleh pelemahan dollar AS.

IHSG pada perdagangan Senin 23 Mei 2022 ditutup melemah 1,12% pada level 6840. Saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor kesehatan membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp155,38 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6803/6702 dan resistance 6850/6900. Stock pick: BBNI, INCO, TINS, PTBA, INDY, ANTM
