Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup mix, dimana indeks Dow Jones ditutup menguat sedangkan indeks S&P500 dan Nasdaq Composite ditutup melemah. Presiden Joe Biden mencalonkan Chairman The Fed Jerome Powell untuk masa jabatan kedua selama empat tahun ke depan, memposisikan Powell untuk melanjutkan perombakan kebijakan moneter dan memberi panduan ekonomi keluar dari krisis setelah pandemi. Nominasi Powell ini pada awalnya direspon positif oleh pasar yang berharap tidak ada perubahan signifikan dalam panduan kebijakan The Fed. Calon nominasi kuat lainnya yaitu Gubernur The Fed Lael Brainard akan menjadi wakil Chairman The Fed. Namun kenaikan yield obligasi pemerintah AS dengan tenor 10 tahun pada level di atas 1,62%, akibat ekspektasi kenaikan suku bunga The Fed lebih cepat dari perkiraan, mendorong koreksi indeks.
IHSG pada perdagangan Senin 22 November 2021 ditutup menguat 0,05% pada level 6723. Saham sektor kesehatan mengalami penguatan terbesar. Sedangkan saham sektor infrastruktur mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing net sell Rp18 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6715/6680 dan resistance 6755/6780. Stock pick: BBRI, BBTN, INCO, PGAS, UNVR, INDF, ICBP
