Market Review and Prediction

Indeks di bursa Wall Street pada akhir pekan lalu ditutup mix, di mana indeks Dow Jones dan S&P500 ditutup menguat tipis sedangkan Nasdaq Composite ditutup melemah terbatas. Indeks bergerak fluktuatif dan sempat melemah sebelum akhirnya rebound pada penutupan perdagangan. Namun selama sepekan indeks di bursa Wall Street kembali mengalami pelemahan. Kekhawatiran akan inflasi tinggi, kenaikan suku bunga The Fed serta kecemasan akan potensi resesi menjadi faktor yang mendorong koreksi indeks selama beberapa pekan ini. Pada pekan ini beberapa data ekonomi AS yang akan dirilis diantaranya new home sales, durable orders, FOMC minutes, personal income, personal spending, PCE prices dan Michigan Sentiment.

IHSG pada perdagangan Jumat 20 Mei 2022 ditutup menguat 1,39% pada level 6918. Semua sektor menguat dengan kontribusi penguatan terbesar pada saham sektor teknologi. Investor asing net buy Rp233,82 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6900/6850 dan resistance 7000/7030.
