Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat di mana indeks Dow Jones dan indeks S&P500 ditutup pada level tertinggi baru. Sentimen positif berasal dari laporan keuangan Nvidia yang jauh lebih baik dari perkiraan, yang mendorong penguatan pada saham sektor teknologi lainnya. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah menguat dipicu oleh prospek ketatnya suplay di pasar global di tengah kondisi ketidakpastian di Timur Tengah yang masih berlangsung. Sedangkan harga emas melemah setelah data initial claims pekan lalu menunjukkan ekonomi AS masih kuat.

IHSG pada perdagangan Kamis 22 Februari 2024 ditutup melemah 0,13% pada level 7339. Saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor infrastruktur membukukan kenaikan terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp253,08 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler.
