Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup variatif di mana indeks Dow Jones dan S&P500 ditutup melemah sedangkan Nasdaq Composite ditutup menguat tipis. Minutes dari hasil pertemuan The Fed lalu menunjukkan para pejabat The Fed menyimpulkan bahwa laju inflasi masih jauh dari target The Fed yang sebesar 2%, ditambah dengan pasar tenaga kerja yang ketat juga berkontribusi terhadap kenaikan tingkat upah dan inflasi. The Fed juga mencatat bahwa adanya penurunan inflasi selama tiga bulan terakhir, namun menekankan bahwa diperlukan bukti penurunan inflasi lebih lanjut untuk lebih meyakinkan bahwa laju inflasi dalam tren penurunan. Minutes tersebut tidak mengubah persepsi pasar bahwa The Fed masih akan melanjutkan tren kenaikan suku bunganya. Hal tersebut kembali mendorong pelemahan pada harga minyak mentah dan emas pada perdagangan kemarin.

IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 21 Februari 2023 ditutup melemah 0,92% pada level 6809. Saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor industri membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing net sell Rp38,04 miliar, termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6780/6750 dan resistance 6850/6870.
