Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah akibat kenaikan yield obligasi pemerintah AS dengan tenor 10 tahun pada level tertinggi sejak tahun 2007 serta yield tenor 2 tahun yang mencapai level tertinggi sejak tahun 2006. Kenaikan yield obligasi ini antara lain dipicu oleh data initial claims pekan lalu yang menunjukkan pasar tenaga kerja masih kuat sehingga menimbulkan kekhawatiran bahwa The Fed masih akan dalam jalur menaikkan suku bunga. Data initial claims pekan lalu sebesar 201 ribu, turun dari 225 ribu, dan merupakan level klaim pengangguran terendah sejak Januari tahun ini. Sementara itu potensi penutupan pemerintah AS jika anggaran belanja terlambat disahkan, menambah sentimen negatif di pasar. Harga minyak mentah dan emas melemah akibat kekhawatiran akan dampak suku bunga tinggi.

IHSG pada perdagangan Kamis 21 September 2023 ditutup melemah 0,29% pada level 6991. Saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor consumer cyclical membukukan kenaikan terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp144,88 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6970/6950 dan resistance 7010/7030. Stock pick: BBNI, BBRI, EXCL, ADRO, PGEO, MAPI, ICBP, CPIN, JPFA
