Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup variatif dalam kisaran sempit cenderung stagnan, di mana indeks Dow Jones dan S&P500 ditutup di area negatif, sedangkan Nasdaq Composite ditutup menguat tipis. Pasar menunggu hasil pertemuan The Fed yang akan diumumkan hari ini waktu AS. The Fed juga akan melakukan pertemuan dengan publik pada hari Jumat. Pasar menantikan proyeksi ekonomi dari The Fed serta pengumuman mengenai kapan tapering akan mulai dilakukan. Kekhawatiran akan potensi gagal bayarnya Evergrande serta dampaknya terhadap pasar finansial global dan meningkatnya penyebaran virus varian delta, masih menjadi faktor negatif di pasar.
IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 21 September 2021 ditutup melemah 0,26% pada level 6060. Saham sektor keuangan mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing net sell Rp219,22 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 5985/5938 dan resistance 6090/6135. Stock pick: TLKM, EXCL, BBRI, ADRO, SCMA, ANTM, TINS
