Market Review and Prediction
All three major indices on Wall Street closed in positive territory. Investors shifted their focus from the technology sector to those benefiting from economic growth, such as banking, industrial, and retail stocks. Small-cap stocks also saw gains. Meanwhile, crude oil and gold prices strengthened amid rising geopolitical tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
JCI closed lower on Thursday, November 21, 2024, with a decline of 0.55%, settling at 7,140. The consumer non-cyclical sector recorded the largest correction, while the infrastructure sector posted the most significant gains. Foreign investors recorded a net sell of IDR 1.133 trillion, including transactions in the non-regular market.
