Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah, setelah seperti yang diperkirakan The Fed tidak menaikkan suku bunga pada pertemuan kemarin, namun mengindikasikan masih akan menaikkan suku bunga satu kali lagi pada tahun ini. The Fed mengindikasikan akan menghentikan program kenaikan suku bunganya setelah kenaikan tersebut dan mulai menurunkan suku bunga pada tahun depan meskipun akan mempertahankan suku bunga tinggi selama satu tahun. Chairman The Fed Jerome Powell berkomentar bahwa soft landing terhadap perekonomian masih mungkin terjadi dan merupakan tujuan utamanya, namun bukan skenario dasarnya. Yield US-Treasury mengalami kenaikan dan menekan saham sektor teknologi.

IHSG pada perdagangan Rabu 20 September 2023 ditutup menguat 0,45% pada level 7011. Saham sektor consumer cyclical membukukan penguatan terbesar, sedangkan saham basic material mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp795,96 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7000/6950 dan resistance 7050/7090. Stock pick: BBCA, BBNI, BMRI, BBRI, MBMA, NCKL, ADMR, ADRO, MAPI
