Market Review and Prediction

Indeks di bursa Wall Street pada akhir pekan lalu ditutup menguat sehingga indeks Dow Jones dan S&P500 kembali ditutup pada rekor tertinggi baru. Sentimen positif antara lain berasal dari laporan kinerja keuangan beberapa emiten yang lebih baik dari estimasi. Hingga saat ini lebih dari 70 emiten dalam indeks S&P500 telah merilis laporan keuangan, di mana sebesar 75% membukukan laba yang melebihi perkiraan. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah berlanjut melemah akibat kekhawatiran akan turunnya permintaan dari China. Sedangkan harga emas menguat mencapai rekor tertinggi ditopang oleh ketidakpastian global akibat konflik di Timur Tengah, menjelang pemilihan presiden AS, serta kecenderungan pelonggaran kebijakan moneter oleh bank sentral. Data ekonomi AS yang akan dirilis pada pekan ini diantaranya existing home sales, new home sales dan initial claims.

IHSG pada perdagangan Jumat 18 Oktober 2024 ditutup menguat 0,32% pada level 7760. Saham sektor properti membukukan penguatan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor kesehatan mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp287,07 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7730/7700 dan resistance 7780/7810. Stock pick : ADMR, AGRO, INDY, APLN, KIJA, BBNI, INDF, TLKM
