Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat, seiring dimulainya pertemuan dua hari The Fed dan penguatan saham Nvidia. Pasar mengantisipasi The Fed akan mempertahankan suku bunga tetap pada pertemuan ini. Namun data inflasi akhir-akhir ini yang di atas perkiraan menimbulkan kecemasan pasar bahwa The Fed akan mempertahankan suku bunga tinggi lebih lama dari perkiraan sebelumnya. Meskipun demikian yield US-Treasury mengalami penurunan sehingga menjadi sentimen positif bagi pergerakan harga saham. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah berlanjut menguat seiring dengan kecemasan akan gangguan suplay di Rusia. Sedangkan harga emas terkoreksi akibat penguatan dollar AS serta menantikan hasil pertemuan The Fed.

IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 19 Maret 2024 ditutup menguat 0,47% pada level 7336. Saham sektor consumer noncyclical membukukan penguatan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp761,93 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7325/7300 dan resistance 7370/7400. Stock pick: BBCA, BRIS, ANTM, ISAT, EXCL, ICBP, MYOR, UNVR, PTBA, AALI, ACES
