Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup mix, di mana indeks Dow Jones ditutup melemah sedangkan indeks S&P500 dan Nasdaq Composite ditutup menguat. Saham Tesla menguat di tengah laporan Bloomberg News, mengutip orang-orang yang mengetahui masalah tersebut, bahwa tim Presiden terpilih Donald Trump tengah berupaya mencari cara untuk melonggarkan regulasi pada kendaraan tanpa pengemudi. Penguatan pada saham Tesla memicu penguatan saham sektor teknologi dan mendorong penguatan Nasdaq Composite. Investor akan menantikan laporan keuangan Nvidia pada hari Rabu, yang berpotensi menjadi katalis indeks berikutnya. Selain itu pasar juga menantikan laporan keuangan beberapa emiten peritel untuk mencari indikasi kesehatan ekonomi dan belanja konsumen. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah dan emas menguat, ditopang oleh pelemahan dollar AS serta meningkatnya ketegangan antara Rusia dan Ukraina.

IHSG pada perdagangan Senin 18 November 2024 ditutup melemah 0,38% pada level 7134. Saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor basic material membukukan kenaikan terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp982,59 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler.
