Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat tipis. Sentimen positif dari ekspektasi penurunan suku bunga The Fed tahun depan dan turunnya yield US-Treasury masih berlanjut. Meskipun demikian pasar khawatir dengan proyeksi laba emiten. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah menguat setelah adanya serangan terhadap kapal-kapal di Laut Merah oleh para militan membuat adanya gangguan terhadap jalur transportasi kapal.

IHSG pada perdagangan Senin 18 Desember 2023 ditutup melemah 0,99% pada level 7119. Saham sektor infrastruktur mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor kesehatan membukukan kenaikan terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp383,15 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7080/7050 dan resistance 7150/7180. Stock pick: BMRI, BRIS, INAF, KAEF, KLBF, ICBP, TLKM
