Indeks di bursa Wall Street pada perdagangan akhir pekan lalu ditutup melemah akibat tekanan jual pada saham sektor teknologi yang dipicu oleh kekhawatiran akan data inflasi yang masih relatif tinggi menjelang pertemuan The Fed pada pekan ini. Data inflasi CPI dan PPI bulan Februari yang dirilis pekan lalu di atas perkiraan konsensus sehingga menimbulkan kekhawatiran pasar bahwa data inflasi masih terlalu kuat sehingga The Fed tidak akan menurunkan suku bunga dalam waktu dekat. Pasar juga khawatir dengan valuasi beberapa saham yang sudah tinggi sehingga melakukan profit taking. Pasar akan menantikan hasil dari pertemuan The Fed pada Selasa-Rabu waktu AS pekan ini, yang diperkirakan masih akan mempertahankan suku bunga tetap.

Data ekonomi AS yang akan dirilis pada pekan ini diantaranya housing starts, building permits, initial claims dan existing home sales. Sedangkan dari domestik, BI juga akan menyelenggarakan Rapat Dewan Gubernur (RDG) pada Selasa-Rabu untuk membahas kebijakan moneternya, yang diperkirakan masih akan mempertahankan BI Rate pada level 6%.

IHSG pada perdagangan Jumat 15 Maret 2024 ditutup melemah 1,42% pada level 7328. Saham sektor keuangan mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor transportasi membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp1,512 triliun termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7300/7260 dan resistance 7370/7400. Stock pick: BMRI, BBTN, BBCA, INCO, TLKM, ASII, AMMN, ADMR, MEDC, INDF, MYOR
