Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat dan indeks Dow Jones ditutup pada level tertinggi tahun ini. Penguatan indeks antara lain dipicu oleh optimisme akan earning season triwulan II 2023. Pasar menantikan dirilisnya laporan keuangan beberapa emiten besar pada pekan ini diantaranya Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, United Airlines, Tesla dan Netflix. Selain itu pasar juga menantikan pertemuan The Fed pada pekan depan yang diperkirakan akan menaikkan suku bunga sebesar 0,25%, setelah pada pertemuan bulan lalu mempertahankan suku bunga tetap. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah melemah akibat kekhawatiran akan penurunan permintaan setelah dirilisnya data pertumbuhan ekonomi China pada Q2 2023 sebesar 6,3% yoy, yang di bawah estimasi 7,3% yoy, dan menimbulkan kekhawatiran akan pemulihan ekonomi China yang lambat. Dimulainya kembali sebagian produksi minyak Libia juga menambah tekanan pada harga minyak mentah.

IHSG pada perdagangan Senin 17 Juli 2023 ditutup melemah 0,03% pada level 6867. Saham sektor kesehatan mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor energi membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp1,202 triliun termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6835/6820 dan resistance 6890/6930. Stock pick: BBRI, BBNI, ISAT, ADHI, PTPP, JSMR, PTBA, ADRO, JPFA, ACES, UNVR
