Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat setelah diberitakan sejumlah bank akan memberikan bantuan kepada First Republic Bank di tengah gejolak industri perbankan. Saham sektor teknologi menguat di tengah harapan investor bahwa adanya krisis industri perbankan akhir-akhir ini akan membuat The Fed mengubah prospeknya akan kebijakan moneter pada pertemuan pekan depan. Investor telah mencermati saham sektor perbankan sejak penutupan Silicon Valley Bank dan Signature Bank menimbulkan kekhawatiran akan potensi penyebarannya di industri perbankan. Sementara itu European Central Bank (ECB) tetap menaikkan suku bunga sebesar 0,5% sesuai rencana, meskipun terjadi gejolak di sektor perbankan akhir-akhir ini.

IHSG pada perdagangan Kamis 16 Maret 2023 ditutup melemah 0,94% pada level 6565. Saham sektor energi mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor kesehatan menjadi satu-satunya sektor yang menguat. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp732,3 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6500/6450 dan resistance 6600/6640. Stock pick: BBRI, TLKM, BBCA, BBNI, ASII, TPIA, ICBP, BRIS, KLBF, INCO
