Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat, yang antara lain dipicu oleh penguatan saham sektor energi dan data penjualan ritel AS yang melemah. Data penjualan ritel bulan Januari turun sebesar 0,8%, lebih buruk dari estimasi yang turun 0,3%. Data tersebut menimbulkan kekhawatiran akan kondisi kekuatan ekonomi AS di tengah tekanan inflasi dan suku bunga tinggi, sehingga mendorong penurunan yield US-Treasury. Namun pasar tenaga kerja masih kuat di mana data initial claims pekan lalu turun 8000 orang menjadi 212 ribu, melampaui estimasi yang diperkirakan turun 1000 orang. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah dan emas menguat didorong oleh pelemahan dollar AS dan yield US-Treasury.

IHSG pada perdagangan Kamis 15 Februari 2024 ditutup menguat 1,3% pada level 7303, merespon positif pelaksanaan pemilu yang aman serta potensi hanya berlangsung satu putaran yang mengurangi ketidakpastian pasar. Saham sektor basic industri membukukan penguatan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor teknologi menjadi satu-satunya sektor yang melemah. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp2,732 triliun termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7300/7285 dan resistance 7350/7370. Stock pick: BBTN, BRIS, ISAT, TLKM, ADMR, SMGR, PGAS
