Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat dipicu oleh laporan keuangan beberapa emiten yang lebih baik dari estimasi, diantaranya Walgreens Boots Alliance, UnitedHealth, Morgan Stanley, Citigroup dan Bank of America. Penurunan yield obligasi pemerintah AS juga mendorong kenaikan saham sektor teknologi. Data inflasi tingkat produsen, PPI, bulan September mencapai 0,5%, lebih rendah dari bulan sebelumnya 0,7% dan dari estimasi 0,6%, sehinggamendorong penurunan yield US-Treasury dan dollar AS. Sementara itu data initial claims pekan lalu turunmenjadi 293 ribu dari pekan sebelumnya 329 ribu, serta di bawah estimasi 332 ribu. Harga minyak mentah menguat akibat turunnya data cadangan minyak AS yang lebih besar dari perkiraan. Harga emas menguat pada level tertinggi selama sebulan terakhir didorong oleh turunnya dollar AS dan yield US-Treasury.
IHSG pada perdagangan Kamis 14Oktober 2021 ditutup menguat 1,36%pada level 6626. Saham sektor teknolog imembukukan kenaikan terbesar. Sedangkan saham sektor transportasi mencatatkan pelemahan terbesar. Investor asing netbuy Rp1,584triliun. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6600/6536 dan resistance 6650/6693. Stock pick: BBCA, TLKM, ASII, MYOR, INDF, ICBP, TINS, INCO, ANTM, BSDE, CTRA, PTBA
