Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah setelah data inflasi di tingkat produsen (PPI) mengalami kenaikan lebih tinggi dari perkiraan. Data PPI bulan November tercatat sebesar 9,6%, setelah bulan Oktober tercatat sebesar 8,8%, dan merupakan level tertinggi sejak November 2010. Data tersebut menambah kekhawatiran pasar menjelang pertemuan The Fed yang diperkirakan akan memutuskan untuk mempercepat pengurangan pembelian obligasi dalam upaya meredam laju inflasi. The Fed juga berpotensi menaikkan suku bunga lebih cepat dari perkiraan jika inflasi terus mengalami kenaikan. Menurut pooling Reuters, diperkirakan The Fed akan mulai menaikkan suku bunga pada Q3 2022 sebesar 0,25% dan diikuti kenaikan pada Q4 2022 sebesar 0,25%. Penyebaran varian omicron juga menjadi sentimen negatif.
IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 14 Desember 2021 ditutup melemah 0,56% pada level 6625. Saham sektor teknologi mengkontribusikan pelemahan terbesar. Sedangkan saham sektor transportasi menjadi satu-satunya sektor yang menguat. Investor asing net sell Rp263,35 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6585/6525 dan resistance 6670/6690. Stock pick: BMRI, BBTN, PGAS, EXCL, ACES, INTP, TPIA, PTBA, ADRO, ITMG
