Market Review and Prediction

Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat, dipicu oleh sentimen positif dari data inflasi tingkat produsen yang di bawah perkiraan. Indeks PPI bulan Juli tercatat sebesar 0,1% mom, di bawah estimasi 0,2% mom. Sehingga secara tahunan indeks PPI menjadi 2,2% yoy, turun dibanding bulan sebelumnya 2,7% yoy. Data PPI ini mendorong optimisme investor menjelang dirilisnya data CPI yang diperkirakan mengalami kenaikan. Jika data CPI mengalami kenaikan, diperkirakan berpotensi meningkatkan fluktuasi pasar di tengah harapan akan penurunan suku bunga The Fed pada bulan depan. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah melemah akibat kekhawatiran akan penurunan permintaan global, meskipun meningkatnya ketegangan politik. Sedangkan harga emas menguat karena melemahnya dollar AS dan yield US-Treasury.

IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 13 Agustus 2024 ditutup menguat 0,81% pada level 7356. Saham sektor consumer cyclical membukukan kenaikan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor industri mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp484,13 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non regular. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7325/7300 dan resistance 7375/7400.
