Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat yang antara lain dipicu oleh aksi beli saham sektor teknologi mengantisipasi penurunan suku bunga The Fed pada pekan depan. Indeks PPI bulan Agustus menunjukkan kenaikan inflasi di tingkat produsen sebesar 0,2% mom, sesuai dengan estimasi. Sama seperti CPI, indeks PPI bulan Agustus ini merupakan level terendah sejak Februari 2021, meskipun untuk indeks PPI inti juga mengalami sedikit kenaikan. Data initial claims pekan lalu juga mencatatkan sedikit kenaikan pada jumlah tenaga kerja yang mengajukan klaim pengangguran. Menambah faktor positif, ECB menurunkan suku bunga lagi sebesar 0,25% menjadi 3,5%. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah menguat dipicu oleh adanya badai Francine yang melanda Teluk Meksiko sehingga mengganggu produksi minyak mentah. Sedangkan harga emas menguat mencapai level tertinggi baru karena ekspektasi penurunan suku bunga The Fed pada pekan depan.

IHSG pada perdagangan Kamis 12 September 2024 ditutup menguat 0,48% pada level 7798. Saham sektor teknologi membukukan kenaikan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor keuangan mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp1,52 triliun termasuk transaksi di pasar non regular. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7760/7730 dan resistance 7830/7850. Stock pick: BBCA, BRIS, BBTN, AUTO, INDF, AKRA, ASII, ISAT, MDKA, PTBA, HRUM, MEDC
