Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah akibat yield US-Treasury yang menguat setelah data inflasi AS bulan September lebih tinggi dari perkiraan sehingga meningkatkan kekhawatiran masih akan berlanjutnya kenaikan suku bunga The Fed. Data inflasi AS bulan September tercatat sebesar 0,4% mom dan 3,7% yoy, lebih tinggi dari estimasi yang masing-masing sebesar 0,3% mom dan 3,6% yoy. Untuk inflasi inti tercatat sebesar 0,3% mom dan 4,1% yoy, sesuai dengan perkiraan. Sementara itu penguatan harga minyak mentah berkurang setelah data cadangan minyak AS mengalami kenaikan lebih tinggi dari perkiraan dan kekhawatiran akan kenaikan suku bunga. Harga emas juga mengalami koreksi akibat penguatan dollar AS dan yield US-Treasury.

IHSG pada perdagangan Kamis 12 Oktober 2023 ditutup menguat 0,05% pada level 6935. Saham sektor infrastruktur membukukan kenaikan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor basic materials mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp415,29 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6910/6890 dan resistance 6970/6990. Stock pick: BBRI, BMRI, BBNI, BBTN, BBCA, JSMR, TLKM, ISAT, EXCL, ICBP
