Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah akibat kekhawatiran akan tingginya laju inflasi dan dampaknya terhadap laporan keuangan perusahaan. Pasar menantikan dirilisnya data inflasi serta dimulainya earning season triwulan III pada hari Rabu. Risalah pertemuan The Fed pada bulan lalu juga akan dirilis pada hari Rabu. Pasar akan mencari petunjuk dari risalah rapat tersebut mengenai indikasi kapan The Fed akan mulai mengetatkan kebijakan moneternya. JP Morgan dan Delta Airlines dijadwalkan akan memulai earning season dengan merilis laporan keuangan pada hari Rabu. Sementara itu IMF menurunkan proyeksi pertumbuhan ekonomi global akibat masalah suplay chain dan penyebaran Covid-19 yang masih terjadi. IMF juga memperingatkan bank sentral termasuk The Fed untuk bersiap-siap mengetatkan kebijakan moneternya jika laju inflasi tidak terkendali.
IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 12 Oktober 2021 ditutup menguat 0,41% pada level 6486. Saham sektor kesehatan membukukan kenaikan terbesar. Sedangkan saham sektor teknologi mencatatkan pelemahan terbesar. Investor asing net sell Rp429,52 miliar, termasuk transaksi net sell investor asing di pasar negosiasi atas saham BANK senilai Rp1,89 triliun. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6450/6392 dan resistance 6506/6542. Stock pick: BBRI, ADRO, PTBA, ASII, EXCL, PTBA, CPIN, JPFA
