Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat meskipun data inflasi AS bulan Desember mengalami kenaikan. Inflasi AS bulan Desember tercatat sebesar 7% yoy, yang merupakan level tertinggi sejak tahun 1982, namun sesuai dengan estimasi. Sedangkan inflasi bulanan sedikit lebih tinggi dari perkiraan, yaitu pada level 0,5% mom dari estimasi 0,4% mom. Namun yield US-Treasury dengan tenor 10 tahun mulai stabil, turun pada level 1,73% setelah pada awal pekan ini sempat menguat hingga 1,8%. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah berlanjut menguat. Pelemahan dollar AS dan tingginya laju inflasi mendorong kenaikan harga emas. Pasar menantikan earning season triwulan IV 2021 yang akan dimulai dengan dirilisnya laporan keuangan JP Morgan, Citigroup dan Wells Fargo pada hari Jumat.
IHSG pada perdagangan Rabu 12 Januari 2022 ditutup melemah 0,01% pada level 6647. Saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar. Sedangkan saham sektor basic materials membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp472,24 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6625/6585 dan resistance 6670/6690. Stock pick: BBCA, BMRI, INDF, KLBF, BBTN, HRUM, INCO, BRPT
