Indeks di bursa Wall Street kembali ditutup menguat. Data inflasi AS bulan November tercatat sebesar 0,1% mom dan 3,1% yoy, dibandingkan dengan ekspektasi yang masing-masing sebesar 0% dan 3,1%. Inflasi inti juga sesuai dengan estimasi. Selanjutnya pasar akan mencermati hasil pertemuan The Fed nanti malam yang diperkirakan The Fed akan mempertahankan suku bunga tetap pada kisaran 5,25%-5,5%. Pasar juga menantikan komentar Chairman The Fed Jerome Powell mengenai ekonomi dan inflasi AS, serta indikasi kebijakan moneter The Fed pada tahun depan. Prediksi pasar mengenai potensi penurunan suku bunga The Fed bergeser dari Maret menjadi Mei 2024. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah melemah di bawah level USD 70 per barel karena kekhawatiran penurunan permintaan setelah data inflasi AS menimbulkan kecemasan bahwa The Fed belum akan menurunkan suku bunga seperti perkiraan sebelumnya. Harga emas juga melemah.

IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 12 Desember 2023 ditutup menguat 0,51% pada level 7125. Saham sektor teknologi membukukan penguatan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor transportasi mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp530,69 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7080/7040 dan resistance 7160/7180. Stock pick: BMRI, BBNI, TOWR, MTEL, AKRA, MEDC, ARTO, BBYB, AGRO
