Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah setelah bergerak fluktuatif menjelang earning season triwulan III yang akan dimulai pada pekan ini. JP Morgan dijadwalkan akan memulai earning season dengan merilis laporan keuangan triwulan III pada hari Rabu. Rata-rata laba emiten dalam indeks S&P500 pada triwulan III diperkirakan tumbuh 29% yoy. Namun masalah supplay chain dan tingginya biaya energi mendorong kekhawatiran akan laporan keuangan emiten dan inflasi. Kenaikan harga minyak mentah mendorong kecemasan akan meningkatnya biaya produsen dan konsumen sehingga berpotensi menurunkan laba emiten.
IHSG pada perdagangan Senin 11 Oktober 2021 ditutup melemah 0,34% pada level 6459. Saham sektor teknologi mengalami pelemahan terbesar. Sedangkan saham sektor energi membukukan kenaikan terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp904,9 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6450/6392 dan resistance 6504/6542.
