Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup variatif dimana indeks Dow Jones ditutup menguat tipis, sedangkan indeks S&P500 dan Nasdaq Composite ditutup di area negatif. Setelah data CPI Juli lebih rendah dari estimasi, data inflasi tingkat produsen (PPI) Juli secara tak terduga mengalami deflasi 0,5% dari bulan sebelumnya yang mencatat inflasi 1% dan dari estimasi yang diperkirakan inflasi 0,2%. Untuk PPI inti tercatat 0,2%, juga lebih rendah dari estimasi yang sebesar 0,4%. Namun The Fed diperkirakan masih akan melanjutkan kenaikan suku bunga, meskipun inflasi mulai melambat. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah menguat setelah IEA menaikkan proyeksi pertumbuhan permintaan minyak mentah tahun ini akibat kenaikan harga gas alam yang mendorong beberapa konsumen berpindah ke konsumsi minyak mentah. Namun kenaikan data cadangan minyak AS pekan lalu membuat kenaikan harga minyak mentah tertahan.

IHSG pada perdagangan Kamis 11 Agustus 2022 ditutup menguat 1,05% pada level 7160. Saham sektor teknologi membukukan penguatan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor consumer cyclical mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp661,65 miliar, termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7104/7050 dan resistance 7195/7220.
