Indeks di bursa Wall Street pada akhir pekan lalu ditutup menguat. Meskipun data nonfarm payrolls yang di atas estimasi, mengurangi harapan akan pemangkasan suku bunga The Fed pada tahun depan, namun pasar masih merespon positif karena optimisme bahwa ekonomi AS akan terhindar dari resesi ekonomi. Data nonfarm payrolls bulan November menunjukkan kenaikan penyerapan tenaga kerja sebanyak 199 ribu dari bulan sebelumnya 150 ribu, serta di atas perkiraan yang sebanyak 175 ribu. Rata-rata tingkat upah per jam naik 0,4% dari sebelumnya 0,2%, serta di atas prediksi 0,3%. Sedangkan tingkat pengangguran turun pada level 3,7% dari 3,9%.

Pada pekan ini pasar akan mencermati hasil pertemuan The Fed pada hari Selasa-Rabu waktu AS. Data ekonomi AS yang akan dirilis pada pekan ini diantaranya CPI, PPI dan retail sales. Sedangkan dari domestik, data ekonomi yang akan dirilis pada pekan ini diantaranya penjualan eceran dan neraca perdagangan.

IHSG pada perdagangan Jumat 8 Desember 2023 ditutup menguat 0,35% pada level 7159. Saham sektor teknologi membukukan kenaikan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor keuangan mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp232,17 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7135/7100 dan resistance 7200/7235. Stock pick: ADRO, ADMR, BRPT, PGEO, MEDC, AKRA, ICBP, ARTO, NCKL
