Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat tajam setelah data inflasi Juli lebih rendah dari perkiraan sebelumnya. Inflasi Juli sebesar 8,5% yoy dan 0% mom, lebih rendah dari perkiraan yang sebesar 8,7% yoy dan 0,2% mom. Inflasi inti tercatat sebesar 5,9% yoy dan 0,3% mom, juga di bawah perkiraan yang masing-masing sebesar 6,1% yoy dan 0,5% mom. Data inflasi Juli ini juga lebih rendah dibandingkan bulan sebelumnya. Laju inflasi yang melambat ini menimbulkan harapan bahwa The Fed akan memperlambat kenaikan suku bunga The Fed pada pertemuan September mendatang.

IHSG pada perdagangan Rabu 10 Agustus 2022 ditutup melemah 0,23% pada level 7086. Saham sektor transportasi mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor teknologi membukukan kenaikan terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp312,34 miliar, termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7025/6970 dan resistance 7150/7195.
