Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat dipicu oleh kenaikan harga minyak mentah di tengah meningkatnya konflik Israel-Palestina. Sebelumnya indeks sempat melemah akibat kekhawatiran akan dampak ketegangan geopolitik terhadap ekonomi, namun indeks kemudian berbalik menguat dipicu oleh kenaikan pada harga minyak mentah dan komoditas lainnya. Semua sektor menguat dengan penguatan terbesar pada sektor energi dan industri pertahanan. Pasar obligasi AS tutup karena Colombus Day, sehingga pasar harus menunggu perkembangan yield US-Treasury. Harga emas juga menguat karena meningkatnya permintaan akan safe haven.

IHSG pada perdagangan Senin 9 Oktober 2023 ditutup menguat 0,04% pada level 6891. Saham sektor energi membukukan kenaikan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor kesehatan mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp85,81 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6875/6850 dan resistance 6925/6950. Stock pick: BRIS, BBTN, ADRO, ADMR, INDY, MEDC, ELSA, AKRA, JSMR
