Indeks di bursa Wall Street pada akhir pekan lalu ditutup melemah terbatas setelah sebelumnya mengalami tekanan lebih dalam akibat data nonfarm payrolls yang lebih tinggi dari perkiraan. Data nonfarm payrolls bulan Mei menunjukkan penyerapan tenaga kerja sebanyak 272 ribu, di atas perkiraan yang sebanyak 190 ribu serta lebih banyak dari bulan sebelumnya 175 ribu. Rata-rata upah per jam juga meningkat 4,1% yoy. Namun tingkat pengangguran naik menjadi 4%. Data tenaga kerja tersebut mendorong kenaikan yield US-Treasury dengan tenor 10 tahun lebih dari 15 basis poin. Data tersebut menurunkan ekspektasi pasar akan penurunan suku bunga The Fed pada bulan September nanti, namun juga mengindikasikan ekonomi AS masih kuat.

Pada pekan ini pasar akan mencermati pertemuan The Fed pada Selasa-Rabu, yang berpotensi masih akan mempertahankan suku bunga tetap. Data ekonomi AS yang akan dirilis pada pekan ini diantaranya CPI, PPI dan Michigan Sentiment. Dari domestik, diantaranya akan dirilis data penjualan ritel, indeks keyakinan konsumen dan penjualan mobil.

IHSG pada perdagangan Jumat 7 Juni 2024 ditutup melemah 1,10% pada level 6897. Saham sektor keuangan mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor kesehatan membukukan penguatan terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp893 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non regular. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6850/6810 dan resistance 6940/6970.
