Indeks di bursa Wall Street kembali ditutup mix, di mana indeks Dow Jones ditutup di area negatif sedangkan indeks S&P500 dan Nasdaq Composite ditutup menguat pada rekor tertinggi. Sentimen positif berasal dari komentar Chairman The Fed Jerome Powell dalam testimoni setengah tahunan di hadapan Kongres AS, bahwa mempertahankan suku bunga tinggi dalam waktu lama dapat menjadi risiko bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi dan pasar tenaga kerja ke depannya. Powell juga menyatakan bahwa lebih banyak data bagus akan meningkatkan optimisme The Fed bahwa inflasi menuju target 2%. Powell akan melanjutkan testimoninya di hadapan komite jasa keuangan pada hari ini. Sedangkan pada hari Kamis dan Jumat akan dirilis data CPI dan PPI.

IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 9 Juli 2024 ditutup menguat 0,26% pada level 7269. Saham sektor keuangan membukukan penguatan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor kesehatan mengalami pelemahan terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp23,47 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non regular. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7215/7195 dan resistance 7295/7310. Stock pick: BBRI, BMRI, BBNI, BRIS, TLKM, EXCL, ISAT, HRUM
