Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup melemah akibat masih berlangsungnya ketegangan politik antara Rusia-Ukraina dan beserta dampak dari pemberlakuan sanksi oleh AS terhadap Rusia termasuk kenaikan harga komoditas. Kenaikan harga minyak mentah, gas serta logam seperti nikel dan paladium, menimbulkan kekhawatiran akan perlambatan ekonomi global di tengah tingginya inflasi. Harga minyak mentah kembali menguat setelah AS menyatakan akan melarang impor minyak dari Rusia. Kenaikan harga minyak mentah juga mendorong kenaikan harga energi alternatif lainnya. Harga nikel juga sempat menyentuh rekor tertinggi baru di atas level USD 100 ribu/metrik ton. Yield US-Treasury dengan tenor 10 tahun mengalami kenaikan tajam sekitar level 1,85%, akibat meningkatnya kekhawatiran akan inflasi tinggi.

IHSG pada perdagangan Selasa 8 Maret 2022 ditutup melemah 0,8% pada level 6814. Saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor properti membukukan kenaikan terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp610,26 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6750/6698 dan resistance 6870/6930. Stock pick: ASII, TLKM, ANTM, BBTN, TBIG
