Market Review and Prediction:

Indeks di bursa Wall Street pada akhir pekan lalu ditutup variatif, di mana indeks Dow Jones dan S&P500 ditutup menguat sedangkan Nasdaq Composite ditutup di area negatif. Data nonfarm payrolls yang di atas estimasi menimbulkan optimisme akan kuatnya pemulihan ekonomi AS. Data nonfarm payrolls bulan Juli menunjukkan penyerapan tenaga kerja sebanyak 943 ribu, sedikit meningkat dari bulan sebelumnya yang sebanyak 938 ribu serta di atas estimasi 925 ribu. Tingkat pengangguran turun pada level 5,4% dari 5,9%, serta di bawah estimasi 5,7%. Tingkat upah perjam meningkat 0,4%, di atas estimasi 0,3%. Data tenaga kerja yang bagus tersebut meningkatkan potensi kenaikan suku bunga, sehingga mendorong kenaikan yield obligasi pemerintah AS, menjadi sentiment positif bagi saham perbankan serta memicu profit taking pada saham sektor teknologi. Pada pekan ini data ekonomi AS yang akan dirilis diantaranya CPI, PPI dan initial claims.
IHSG pada perdagangan Jumat 6 Agustus 2021 ditutup melemah 0,03% pada level 6203. Saham sektor keuangan mengalami pelemahan terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp136,2 miliar. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6175/6160 dan resistance 6230/6265. Stock pick: ASII, BBNI, BRIS, HRUM, PTBA, INCO, KRAS, ERAA
