Indeks di bursa Wall Street kembali ditutup menguat sehingga indeks S&P500 dan Nasdaq Composite kembali pada level rekor tertinggi. Penguatan dipicu oleh harapan akan turunnya inflasi serta kenaikan saham sektor teknologi. Optimisme pasar ini meningkat setelah ECB mempertahankan suku bunga tetap selama empat kali pertemuan berturut-turut, serta menurunkan proyeksi inflasi dan pertumbuhan ekonomi. ECB menurunkan proyeksi inflasi di area Euro tahun ini pada level 2,3% dari proyeksi sebelumnya 2,7%. ECB juga menurunkan proyeksi pertumbuhan ekonomi menjadi 0,6% dari proyeksi sebelumnya 0,8%. Sementara itu Chairman The Fed Jerome Powell di hadapan senat menyatakan bahwa inflasi tidak jauh dari target The Fed untuk mulai menurunkan suku bunga.

IHSG pada perdagangan Kamis 7 Maret 2024 ditutup menguat 0,60% pada level 7373. Saham sektor basic materials membukukan penguatan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor teknologi mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp478,56 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7350/7330 dan resistance 7400/7420. Stock pick: BBRI, BMRI, BBCA, BRIS, TPIA, BREN, BRPT, ANTM, ADMR, TINS, TLKM, ISAT, EXCL
