Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat, yang antara lain dipicu oleh penguatan pada saham Alphabet setelah meluncurkan model AI Gemini. Data initial claims pekan lalu menunjukkan penurunan jumlah klaim serta di bawah perkiraan konsensus, sehingga mengindikasikan angka PHK belum mengalami kenaikan. Selanjutnya pasar akan menantikan data nonfarm payrolls yang akan dirilis nanti malam. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah masih di bawah level USD 70 /barel. Sedangkan harga emas menguat karena pelemahan dollar AS.

IHSG pada perdagangan Kamis 7 Desember 2023 ditutup menguat 0,67% pada level 7134. Saham sektor basic material membukukan kenaikan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor kesehatan mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net sell Rp254,77 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7100/7085 dan resistance 7155/7180. Stock pick: BBRI, BBCA, TPIA, BRPT, PGEO, NCKL, MDKA, INTP
