Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat dipicu oleh optimisme akan tercapainya kesepakatan senat untuk menaikkan plafon utang AS sehingga terhindar dari gagal bayar. Partai Republik menyatakan akan mendukung untuk memperpanjang sementara batas atas utang AS hingga Desember. Sebelumnya indeks melemah akibat data ADP Employment yang mencatat penyerapan tenaga kerja sektor swasta sebanyak 568 ribu, lebih tinggi dari estimasi yang sebanyak 428 ribu. Data tersebut mendorong naiknya potensi The Fed untuk melakukan tapering segera. Saham sektor teknologi menguat setelah yield obligasi pemerintah AS turun pada level tertinggi tiga bulan.
IHSG pada perdagangan Rabu 6 Oktober 2021 ditutup menguat 2,06% pada level 6417. Saham sektor industri membukukan penguatan terbesar. Sedangkan saham sektor properti mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing net buy Rp4,831 triliun, termasuk transaksi di pasar negosiasi saham CASA senilai Rp1,07 triliun. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 6385/6350 dan resistance 6465/6500. Stock pick: BRIS, AGRO, BMRI, TLKM, CPIN, JPFA, MEDC, MAPI, RALS, EMTK, SCMA
