Indeks di bursa Wall Street ditutup menguat, rebound dari koreksi dua hari perdagangan berturut-turut. Namun penguatan indeks terbatas akibat saham Apple yang kembali melemah serta kekhawatiran akan perbankan regional. Pasar mencermati pidato Chairman The Fed Jerome Powell yang menyatakan bahwa The Fed akan menurunkan suku bunga pada tahun ini, namun The Fed belum akan menurunkan suku bunga pinjaman dalam waktu dekat. The Fed akan melihat perkembangan data ekonomi sebelum mulai menurunkan suku bunga. Powell menyatakan bahwa menurunkan suku bunga dengan cepat akan menimbulkan risiko kalah melawan inflasi dan harus menaikkan suku bunga lagi, sebaliknya jika menunggu terlalu lama juga akan berbahaya bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi. Sementara itu harga minyak mentah dan emas menguat karena indikasi penurunan suku bunga The Fed pada tahun ini.

IHSG pada perdagangan Rabu 6 Maret 2024 ditutup menguat 1,14% pada level 7329. Saham sektor teknologi membukukan penguatan terbesar, sedangkan saham sektor infrastruktur mengalami koreksi terbesar. Investor asing mencatatkan net buy Rp84,27 miliar termasuk transaksi di pasar non reguler. Pada perdagangan hari ini IHSG diperkirakan bergerak pada kisaran support 7300/7270 dan resistance 7350/7380. Stock pick: BBRI, BMRI, BBCA, BBNI, BRIS, AKRA, UNTR, TPIA, ANTM, ADMR
